Love, What Is It?
Is the advice of a guru love?
Suffering, it’s all around us. I believe we feel ours and the collective suffering. Teal Swan, whose advice is in the image above, is one healer and leader who is a signpost for my growth.
Most days, I align and float in the flow of awareness. Most days, a few intentional breaths ground me when injustice tares at me. Today might be one of those days, I tell myself to get ready for the day.
Then I read an article here on Medium, and I feel the suffering of writers in this community, and I want to share Teal’s advice, and I don’t. Not with this particular writer. I don’t because I don’t know if it can be supportive, more likely it will add fuel for the suffering.
Instead, I take extra intentional breaths and let my soul send the soothing power of the breaths to the fellow author who is suffering today. The message is, you are not alone. You got this, I got your back, at least energetically.
